Prepping properly = the best, longest-lasting glow. Follow these simple steps to make sure your skin is ready to be dipped in gold:
24–48 Hours Before Your Appointment:
Exfoliate your entire body thoroughly (especially elbows, knees, and ankles) to remove dead skin.
Shave or wax at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid skin sensitivity.
Avoid using any oils, lotions, or bar soaps that can leave residue on the skin.
The Day of Your Appointment:
Come with clean, dry skin—no makeup, deodorant, perfume, or moisturizers.
Wear loose, dark clothing and sandals or slides to avoid rubbing your fresh tan.
Avoid tight bras, leggings, or anything that may cause streaking post-tan.
Bonus Tips:
If it’s raining, bring an umbrella and cover up to protect your tan on the way home!
Plan your tan at least 24–48 hours before a big event for the perfect glow.
Treat your tan like the glow-up it is—and we’ll take care of the rest.

Comfort is key! Here’s what we recommend:
Loose, dark clothing: Think oversized t-shirts, flowy dresses, joggers, or anything that won’t cling to your skin. Dark colors are best in case the bronzer transfers a bit.
Slides or sandals: Avoid socks and closed-toe shoes after your tan to prevent rubbing or streaking.
No tight straps or elastic: Skip bras, tight waistbands, or anything that could press into your skin and disrupt your glow.
If you’re getting tanned in your home, you can wear (or not wear!) whatever you’re comfortable in—most clients opt for a strapless bra, bikini bottoms, or go nude for no tan lines.
Bottom line: Wear something that makes you feel relaxed and confident. We’ll handle the rest!

Let the glow settle in. Here’s how to make it last beautifully.
Immediately After Your Tan:
Avoid water, sweating, or skin-to-skin contact for at least 8–12 hours (or as directed by Donna based on your formula).
Don’t touch your skin during this time—even a light smudge can affect your final result.
Wear loose, dark clothing until your first rinse to avoid streaks or rub-off.
Your First Rinse:
Rinse with lukewarm water only—no soap, scrubbing, or shaving yet!
You’ll see the bronzer wash off (don’t worry, your glow is still developing underneath!).
Gently pat yourself dry with a towel—no rubbing.
After 24 Hours:
Shower as normal using a gentle, sulfate-free body wash.
Moisturize daily to keep your skin hydrated and extend your tan’s life.
Avoid exfoliating, shaving too frequently, or using products with retinol, glycolic acid, or alcohol.
Skip long hot baths, saunas, and chlorinated pools, as they can fade your tan faster.
Pro Tip:
Your glow should last 7–10 days with proper care. To maintain your golden look, schedule your next appointment around the one-week mark.

We get it—life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule your spray tan appointment, please do so at least 12 hours in advance to avoid any fees.
Appointments canceled within 12 hours of the scheduled time will incur a 50% late cancellation fee.
No-shows or missed appointments without notice will be charged the full service amount, as we’ve reserved that time just for you.
